the Company’s Garden has always been a major tourist & public attraction in Cape Town, but the restaurant recently had a complete renovation and the area around it has been spruced up for the enjoyment of the public (especially kids who climb the huge weaver nests by artist Porky Hefer all day long). the restaurant is usually quite busy, so the service might be slow at times, but the food is pretty good (although a bit overpriced). a nice place to go on a sunny day if you’ve been ambling through the gardens.
